Dr. Amalfi Blanco is the founder of Pro-Vision Care Center. She is a skilled Optometrist with many years of experience in comprehensive eye care including refractive evaluation, provision of contact lens services, detection and treatment of ocular diseases and co-management of pre and post-surgical conditions. Dr. Blanco enjoys educating patients about their eye health. She has participated in various local radio shows, informing families in the community about the importance of annual eye examinations to detect ocular anomalies at an early stage, and to prevent the progression of ocular diseases. She is an advocate for education and prevention of diabetic retinopathy in the Hispanic community, and was honored to receive the "Top Optometrist in Florida" award in the years 2013 and 2014.
In the year 2002, Dr. Blanco completed her undergraduate studies at Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology. Soon after, she graduated with a Bachelors of Visual Science and a Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, in the year 2006. Dr. Blanco is a National and Florida Board Certified Optometrist, proficient in English and Spanish.
